Help EPMS Climb the Peak in 2013-2014
THANK YOU. With everyone’s help, we raised over $140,000 last year.
In 2007, the State of CA drastically reduced the funding for education. Without financial supplementa-tion, we were faced with cutting our PE, Art, Music and Environmental Education programs. The quality of our remaining classroom curriculum would also have been compromised.
Each year since, the EPMS parents have graciously stepped in with contributions to bridge this financial gap. We have cut nothing and continue to offer our children a robust educational program. With your continued support, we have answered requests to provide this Montessori education beyond elementary and are excited to offer 7th grade this year. Fundraising activities, including Annual Giving, are the way in which we close the gap each year and keep our program moving forward.
This year we are requesting an Annual Giving donation of $1,000 per child. With last year’s Annual Giving and proceeds from fundraising events, we broke even and were able to maintain our entire program. If everyone helps to exceed last year’s amount, the additional funds will bring us closer to realizing our future growth goals.
